What is the Kids Arise Alliance?
The Kids Arise Alliance is a transformative initiative comprising two key programs:
- Girl Arise Program – Focused on empowering young girls by addressing challenges like teenage pregnancies and period poverty.
- Game Changers Program – Designed to support and mentor young boys, fostering positive male role models.
Together, these programs work to bridge the gender-specific gaps that hinder children from accessing the opportunities, resources, and guidance they need to realize their full potential.
What is it About?
Every child—regardless of gender—deserves equal opportunities to thrive. However, many young boys and girls face unique challenges that put them at a disadvantage in education and personal growth. The Kids Arise Alliance was established to level the playing field by tackling these obstacles head-on.
Girl Arise Program
Many girls drop out of school due to teenage pregnancies and period poverty, cutting short their dreams and opportunities. Through Girl Arise, we provide:
- Menstrual Health Education – Equipping girls with essential knowledge about their bodies and menstrual health.
- Menstrual Products – Ensuring girls have access to sanitary pads so they can stay in school with dignity.
- Support and Mentorship – Creating safe spaces where girls can receive guidance and encouragement.
Game Changers Program
Many young boys struggle due to lack of mentorship and positive role models, leading to high dropout rates and a lack of direction in life. Through the Game Changers Program, we:
- Foster Male Mentorship – Connecting young boys with positive male role models who inspire and guide them.
- Address Dropout Rates – Providing support systems to keep boys engaged in school and their future.
- Encourage Leadership & Responsibility – Instilling values that help young men become responsible, empowered individuals.
Why Was it Established?
